I love Jasper Fforde books. "Thursday Next" series was funny, intelligent, amusing and had a new take on old classic characters. His new series "Nursery Crime" novels have the same witty light approach to children’s story characters. I finished "The Fourth Bear" and can't wait to put my hands on "Big over Easy" (the first one in the series) and "The Last Great Tortoise Race".
"Dark Lover" by J.R. Ward introduced a new version of vampires and their relative problems. I got over excited and put hold on other books of this series.
